A catkin, not a pod.

A bit of a correction to this post. The pepper in question comes from a catkin, or flower spike, rather than a pod.

I've been enjoying the crunched up flavor of these "long peppers" (as they were described on the not-so-verbose WF labelling) in and on all sorts of things. Definitely very good in soup as you mentioned.
